What we collect and why

The enquiry form asks for your name, town or postcode, a description of the work and an email address or phone number. Preferred timing is optional. We use these details to reply, discuss the work and arrange any next steps you request. We process enquiry details to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and keep appropriate records of our enquiries and correspondence for our legitimate business interests. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

How the enquiry reaches us

This website is hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and made available in the site owner’s account. Email notifications go to our Gmail inbox, operated by Google. These providers may process data outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements. See Netlify’s privacy notice and Google’s privacy notice for information about their services.

Project photographs can be emailed to us separately. They are not automatically published on this website. Please do not send payment details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. We do not sell enquiry information.

Keeping information

We keep enquiry details for as long as they are needed to deal with your request, follow up the discussion and meet any resulting business or record-keeping requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to work are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed. Correspondence and any resulting job records may be retained separately. Relevant project details may be shared with tradespeople where necessary to assess or undertake work you have requested.

Browsing this website

We have not added advertising pixels, third-party analytics, embedded maps or marketing cookies. The gallery runs in your browser. We do not save your unfinished enquiry in browser storage. The hosting provider processes operational information, such as connection details and request logs, to deliver the site and prevent abuse.

Your choices

You can ask to access or correct the information we hold about you, or request deletion, restriction or transfer where applicable. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some records may need to be retained where there is an applicable obligation. Email us at the address above to make a request.

You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
